She/ her
Samantha is a Psychosexual Therapist and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), providing clients access to Medicare rebatable specialist sex therapy support, with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP)
Through her practice, clients explore a range of issues that may intersect with their sex lives including identity, life goals and direction, addressing ongoing post-traumatic stress, unhelpful coping strategies, workplace challenges, relationship and sex-based concerns and co-existing mental health concerns. Samantha has over a decade’s experience working with adults who have experienced complex trauma of various forms (e.g domestic violence, sexual abuse, intergenerational and interpersonal traumas).
Samantha is passionate about providing trauma-informed, strengths-based, feminist and inclusive support to her clients. By incorporating a trauma-informed lens to her work, clients can place the challenges they are facing in their appropriate context rather than forming unhelpful beliefs such as ‘something is wrong with me’ ‘I’m wrong/unloveable/undesireable’.
