Emily is an experienced Relationship Therapist, EMDR therapist and Psychotherapist.
Emily is passionate about supporting relationships to thrive rather than just surviving. Emily believes the most important relationship we will ever have is relationship to self, which can determine the type of relationship we have with another. The quality of our relationships, directly influences the quality of our lives. Emily can support couples and individuals on attachment styles, conflict and communication skills, and deepening intimacy and connection. Emily has a warm approach, that invites exploration and vulnerability, whilst prioritising the clients emotional safety.
Emily’s early career background is working with young people and their families through attachment theory, advocacy and interventions that support better mental health. Through a combination of deep personal interest in relationships and her previous work, Emily has become specialised in therapy that is relationship focused and trauma informed for both couple and individual clients.

Emily is trained in and draws upon modalities of Narrative therapy, Resourse Therapy, EMDR Therapy and Gottman Relationship Therapy.
Emily sees a diverse range of clients and is interested in the ever evolving/changing nature and landscape of relationships. With Emily’s training in EMDR therapy she is able to help clients have a more regulated nervous system by processing trauma that may be effecting daily life and relationships.
Emily still practices as a dancer, yoga and Pilates teacher. This embodied practice directly informs her approach in working with clients. She was born and raised on Gumbaynggirr country and works on Gadigal country.
